The Miami MetroZoo has an incredible selection of animals to entertain you and the family. The great difference about this zoo and the many others you will have visited is that this one is free-range, meaning the exhibits are completely cageless. Seaquarium

Located in the middle of the largely tourist populated area between downtown Miami and Miami Beach, this aquarium will keep you and the children occupied for the day. It's not worth your while rushing around this outdoor aquarium as there's so much to see so make sure to leave enough time for this one. Check out their website for more information. 

Miami Museum of Science

You are bound to find a science project here that will entertain the whole family. Here you can find the Bird of Prey Research Centre and the Weintraub Observatory. Check it out here and make your trip to Miami and educational experience!

Parrots on Jungle Island

This place oozes fun for the whole gang. If you've only ever seen parrots on the television you just have to make a trip here. You can finally come close to the tropical birds in replicas of their natural habitats. If you get lucky you might be there the same time they are running one of their frequent educational programs.
